1 out of every 5 or so submissions to Illum will do well. The rest? Not so much. It's because the work gets buried in the 549199498411 pieces that are published around the clock.

SYNERGY and Technology Hits have less traffic and are both under the Illum umbrella which is why I have been encouraging writers sitting in the Illum Q to pull the submission and resubmit to one of the t=other two depending upon their genre.

I had about a dozen writers move over to SYNERGY yesterday with two more pending. I basically sit on the SYNERGY queue so almost as soon as one comes in, I get it right back out again.

Sitting in a large Q isn't making you any money. Nor is being buried under a bunch of newly published pieces either.
