"A freelance writing niche is a specialization in either a topic or a content type. A topic is “what” you write about, and it's probably the first thing you think of when you think of a niche."

This according to Smart Blogger.

When I first started writing on Medium just a year ago I was inundated with “information”. How to write, what to write, how to make a million dollars in my first 30 days and all the other, now that I know, ridiculous crap that people write to make a buck.

I gave up trying to figure out what I was supposed to do and did what I wanted to do, which was write. I am an expert at only one thing-me. So I write what I know.

That’s what I love about Fuck Niches, which is the brainchild of Jason Presley. Jason totally gets it. I don’t know who wrote the rules but as the old saying goes,

Rules were meant to be broken.

My advice to newbs or those who are still trying to find their way. Do you, Boo. Do you.
