Paying readers who aren't writers aren't paying to read how to highlight an article or share it on Twitter with a couple of clicks. They're paying to read recipes, and personal essays, or follow publications that deal with travel or photography.

Or they follow Oprah and Barrack and Biden or Matthew McConaughey (see Slackjaw publication) or Katie Couric.

An article I wrote in Sept of 2020 was discovered by the Washington Post in Sept of 2021. I was interviewed for an article that they were writing for the 9/11 20-year anniversary.
