This is the last in the series of AI content generated reviews. I’ve reviewed Writesonic, AI-Writer, Rytr, Copymatic, Copy.ai, Kafkai, and now finally Article Forge. I also compiled a list of those that I didn’t even bother to review and why in simply enough, Who I Didn’t Review and Why.

As I’m scrolling through I notice two things. One, it’s all very standard. Nothing extraordinary in comparison to the other six reviews that I’ve done. Two, I realize that the Kafkai site has me spoiled. I mean they listed the 30+ genres that they specialize in. This site doesn’t even mention genres.

Unlike some of the other sites, it does appear to be straightforward, easy to use, and easy to understand.

100% unique, Copyscape passable, 5-day free trial. Let’s see what else I see…

30-day money-back guarantee* and oooooooh snap.

THEY’RE IN THE US.

Hell, they’re basically up the street from me. Good! Now on to pricing plans.

Now here’s something different. The plan features are identical. No walking the dog or tucking your kids in at night for the year-long plan.

$27 per month *12=$324 a year

vs.

$57 per month * 12=$684 per year

That’s a difference of $360 per year between the two plans. That’s a lot. I’m going to check out the free trial and see what happens next.

And as expected…

It wouldn’t even allow me to click on any of the buttons down the left to see what I was about to sign up for. I guess that’s what the free trial is for. Because I don’t even know if this site does blog posts since their information is so scant, I’m going to pass on this one for now. At least with the trial.

I nudged my old friend Google and the two of us got cracking on trying to figure out just what Article Forge has to offer. The only thing I came up with was other reviews so I checked some of those out. According to one reviewer,

Article length can be set to 50, 200, 500, or 750 words. Unfortunately, you can’t set it to more than 750 words. This is something that hasn’t change.

You can also enable the option to add titles and headings, set image and video adding probability, or replace keywords with links. — Kasa Reviews

Additionally, “You can Perfect Tense tool to check for spelling and grammar mistakes in content generated by Article Forge.” The fact that this is even a feature in equal measure scares me and pleases me. It comes across as they are aware of the shortcomings of their bots and are willing to give you another bot to check the first bot’s work…?

The screenshots provided by the reviewer indicate what I suspected and I’m glad to see it. It is indeed very easy to use. No 1000 words to get it started. No titles, subtitles, outlines, listicles, nothing.

  • Enter a keyword.
  • Select a language (they have 7 to choose from). A field for sub keywords that I don’t get the impression are required.
  • Select the length.
  • An on/off switch for “add titles”
  • An option for adding an image
  • And then one for adding a video

Then you simply click Create New Article.

I kept reading the review. It was long and poorly written which was a red flag, to say the least. I decided to dip down into the comment section. Also as I suspected, a lot of, “this thing is great” type comments from people who clearly couldn’t write well on their own. And then I saw this one.

The very thing I had been afraid of all along and not just with this site but all of them. Here was the reviewer's response as well as a response from another commenter directly below that.

And THIS is why I won’t sign up for the “free” trials. “Too much time correcting” and it’s “not good”. You would have never known that by the reviewer’s review! He wrote this piece on Oct 2. for the 2.0 version. Yet another reviewer wrote about the 2.6 version just two days later. His piece read like AI-generated content and while not disclosed I suspect that the sign-up link is an affiliate link.

So my initial gut reaction was correct yet again. PASS!
