At 58, I've spent more years on my own than not and have found that I much prefer it. I get much more accomplished when alone such as my writing and traveling.

That's one for the plus list. I can get up and go whenever and go wherever for however long I chose.

Your minus list isn't something that bothers me. I clean as I go so there is never any big cleaning day as I did in my 20s and early 30s. I am going through a lonely period however and have been for sometime now. But I'm still not ready to give up the 99 for the 1 just yet.
