Attention Travel Writers
How do you all feel about a new travel publication?

I’m specifically looking at you guys. I know you all stated that you were interested in writing under the topic of travel. I know there are almost no options available on the platform currently. Here’s what I’m thinking.
Since many places are still on lockdown that doesn’t mean that travel writing has to be. I’m thinking day trips or weekenders. Someplace you can get to easily, photograph, write about, and because it’s practically in your backyard you won’t need to do much if any research on it.
Readers can then pin these places on a map and add them to their “someday” list. As in someday when we’re all free to move about and roam as our nature calls us to.
Maybe your job requires you to travel. Write about the cities or towns that you’re job takes you to. Pick up those brochures in the hotel lobby and local eateries. Write on the plane or on the train on your way back home.
Maybe you have some images from a vacation and a good memory or some journal entries to help spark memories.
I’m merely free-writing here. Making it up as I go so to speak. I do like the idea of writing about day trips the most though.
