Editors shouldn't rewrite, simply correct. If submissions were really bad I'd just tell them to install one of the three apps to help them out. Grammarly, Hemingway and I forget the other one. Even though I'm not an editor on here any longer & I seldom write, I still use Grammarly.

I've been on the receiving end of so-called editors and the foolishness they attempt to dole out. I had one replace my few images that were actually applciable and swap them out for a ton of images posted in a row that had nothing to do with the subject. It looked like an e-version of a pop-up book.

Then the first comment was hers advertising whatever she was hawking on another site.

I pulled it, blocked her, and reverted it back to the original version.

I've pulled and blocked a few "editors/publishers" on here. They never took the time to understand what it meant to hold either title. "It looks easy so it must be" is a sure fire way of pissing people off and then you die on the vine.
