So, DMY has “commissioned” us editors (“write it or you’re fired”) to compile what is basically to be a Top 10 list or something of that sort. Feature writers for whatever reason in whatever niche. Some editors under the Illum umbrella are niche specific. I am not. So…

When you see this image and what’s above it in the future, you will know that I’m releasing my latest review. I believe it is for me the simplest way to do this “commissioned” work as follows.

I will still write stories as I am moved to do so. That happens in one of two ways. One is while I’m editing. I have my editor’s hat on while I’m working on your submission (I do about 100 a week on a good week) but if something catches my eye, after I hit Publish I then go into reader mode. That’s why some of you see I edited and published your piece and before you’ve had a chance to look at my handiwork, I’ve already “tagged” (highlighted) it like a street gang member on initiation weekend.

The other way I find my gems is when I run screaming into the streets, “No more! No more editing!” and take some time off. Like this weekend. I’m supposed to be on vacation right this second, eh hem DMY, but here I am slaving away over a hot keyboard. SHEW! I’m know that Aldric Chen can relate.
