Dianne Feinstein. Dead at 90.
I was tooling around on X formerly known as and still referred to by me, Twitter when I happened upon Diane Feinstein’s name under Trending. She has passed away. We all do and she was 90 so I can’t be upset about that. She lived a lot longer than most do or will. What is irking me beyond self-control are the nasty, ratched, vile, disgusting, and completely unnecessary comments from the right.
I’m 60 years old and it looks like I will go to my grave not understanding people or their nature. You don’t have to agree with 100% of the people 100% of the time. No one will. But for the love of God can you restrain yourself from hate-writing when someone has died??
In my reply to the post, I stated basically what I said above and that parents failed them and failed society. Because now we’re left to deal with them and the pain they inflict on society as a whole. Whatever happened to if you can’t say something nice don’t say anything at all? Do people get hard-ons from being vicious?
Of course, this is brought to you by the “christian” right. The ones who want the death penalty, cheer when an old woman dies, but tell women, Christian or not, what they can and can’t do with their own fucking uteruses.
She was a wife and a mother and a grandmother and quite possibly a great-grandmother — all of whom undoubtedly loved her. And when they should be mourning a loss to their family their grief and pain will be compounded by social media posts from asshats with a point to make, clicks, likes, and follows.
Republicans claim to be followers of Christ. I can tell you, and here comes another 100%, that He is 100% disappointed beyond measure in all of you today.
Do better ffs
