Firstly, thank you, and congrats to you as well! Secondly, Amazon. It depends on your end game. For me, it was on my bucket list so I did it and shed a tear when my first ebook sold a copy. I had all 10 translated into 6 languages after a while in order to broaden my audience reach.
I’ve sold some of each of them I believe. I don’t keep track of them anymore. Every so often I’ll get an email stating that I’ve made another sale. If I really wanted to make money from it? I don’t know. I’d probably have to do a complete overall to the covers and run through each of them (English) to ensure I didn’t miss any mistakes the three times before when I went through them. And then I’d have to either find some way to market them myself or hire someone to do it which isn’t cheap.
So, if you’re in it for the money and have money to spend to get it off the ground it’s going to be a crapshoot. The market is just too saturated. I started out on Smashwords at it’s the same thing. A saturated market and you have to do your own marketing.
I do have two hardcopy books that I’d like to expand on “someday”. We’ll see.
