Four months later and nearly 50 comments, do you think LI is worth it? What does its current objective seem to be?

I signed up years ago and it was a nightmare. I got countless requests to be connected emails everyday from people I didn't know and had nothing in common with. I'm just wondering if it isn't another time waster like FB and X to name two.
