Usually, retirement parties are held later in the year. But COVID has made everything a cluster f*ck this year so we’re doing it now while we’re all still alive. Er uh I mean, available. We have more than one person retiring so let’s roll that beautiful bean footage! (Look, someone has to sample the champagne to make sure it was the good stuff, K?)
Billy “The Big Mouth” Brownston
Okay, so technically he isn’t old enough to retire. It’s more like a forced retirement. Child labor laws and all ya know.
Eva “The Every Emotion” Engglestead
Name an emotion, I’ve seen her have it — depressed, screaming, mad. She’s gotta one helluva a range. Between you, me, and the watercooler, she’s not really retiring. She’s “retiring” to a “spa” if you get my meaning.
Don “The Discouraged” Dickerson
Don’s been with us long enough to not only be discouraged but a discouraged drunkard. Let’s wish Don well, shall we?!
And last but certainly not least, Lulu “The Loner” Lusby.
I asked her what she wanted as a retirement gift. She’s still thinking.
