The internet has my stomach rolling today. In random order…

I got an email notification from Find a Grave. They are a site that is associated with Ancestry.com. I have volunteered there for a few years now as a photographer. People will put up requests for specific headstones in specific areas to be photographed. I hit “Accept” on a request, go snap the photo, and then come back and upload it. I’ve gotten many thank you from people over the years. Sometimes the headstones contain key information that they didn’t have and help them break through a wall on their tree.

The email I got today was from a user who has their messages turned off, telling me that I had made a mistake in a memorial and the correct way for it to be posted. Dafaq? I can’t message her and tell her to go fuck herself over something so trivial. I had placed the word Sir in front of William’s name. She schooled that Sir should go in the Suffix field. Uh, no, honey, wrong. The suffix field is for I, II, III, etc., Jr. Sr., and the like. Sir is a noble title and was correctly placed by me.

So I hit Edit and put the word Sir in every open field I could find. Then I placed e-flowers on the page calling her out about her incorrectness and pettiness and suggested in the future she mind her own damn business and that if she didn’t…
