Have you looked at the About pages of these "writers" who are writing the 100 follower pieces? Most of them have only been on here a couple of months themselves yet write pieces in a voice that leaves the reader with the impression that they have an authoritative voice.
No one is taking advantage of anyone. You said yourself you click on clickbait knowing it's clickbait! How is that anyone's issue but your own?
