He and I were clearly complete opposites. While he attempted to dictate love, I acquired the legal right to marry any two individuals who asked me to marry them! I had zero interest in becoming a member of the clergy. But I did want to be available to sign a marriage certificate for someone who might not otherwise be able to obtain one.

What can I say? I've always been a trouble maker LOL
