Here's hoping! I Never realized how bad it was until I got much older. It was the status quo to not have a say in anything, to be expected to cook, clean, raise kids, AND bring in a paycheck. I'm so glad I'm retired at this point. I was "lucky" and retired at 55. Constantly walking on eggshells is exhausting after awhile.
