I applied back when they first became a thing and was told no. I didn’t bother again. Substack is going to give me the opportunity to do all the things that I’ve been wanting to do, like a podcast, all on the same site. My curated stories from here will be posted there but as audio clips instead. All new, really good, non-Medium-related posts will be there moving forward.

I’m streamlining my online presence so that every keystroke counts instead of throwing caca everywhere to see what sticks. I’ve closed my YT channel, have deleted better than 95% of my posts from BuyMeACoffee (I’m still using it for tips though), etc.

One I’m done with the development of the children’s book series for a non-profit I’m working with, I’ll have more time to learn the ins and outs of Substack. I’ve found that Tree Langdon has a lot of posts on Substack on how to navigate Substack. I anticipate those being time and life savers.
