I don't know about ko-fi but on BuyMe you can also blog so I write over there as well. I had a story for the first time ever banned on Medium after having been here for 2 years without an issue. Because, you know, "woke". So I posted it over there instead. Then I wrote a piece here about the ban. Not one person who read the banned piece on BuyMe saw a thing wrong with what I said.

Okay, so it isn't me. It's Medium. Good to know. Now whenever I have something I want to write about and I even suspect that the Woke Crowd will have a cow, I post it on BuyMe. You don't get paid for reads over there but you can (and I do) get tips. One guy tipped me $15. This month on Medium I might make $30 for multiple posts over the entire month. This after a nearly $100 month last month.

Plus you never know when someone decides to bite the bullet, follow you over here from BuyMe, and then subscribe. Everything about writing online is a crap shoot but at least I don't have to worry about being censored and it's a second source of income.
