I edit "for real" and it pisses a lot of writers off. They get away with a lot on other pubs but then when they get me as their editor, it's like walking the plank LOL

My only goal as an editor is to make sure everyone is on the up and up. Is the information your submitting factual? Is it backed up with data and links for sources to the information you are providing?

If it's a personal essay, are you saying anything that would violate Medium policy or the publications guidelines?

That's it. It's nothing personal. But people sure do take it that way!
