I had no idea that reads were dying off. Mine have been on a meteoric rise since August. I put out 26 pieces in 30 days so I'm sure that goosed Al and got his attention.

I had a post go viral but I made only a couple of bucks because it was all external hits. But it got me eyeballs so I think that helped with the other pieces.

Being written about in the Washington Post didn't hurt either. I think have a list of lists pinned is also a huge help as more people are reading my older stuff.
