I hardly read anything in there either for the same reasons. I would unfollow and somehow I would magically be following it again so I would unfollow and on and on and on it went. I looked at it 12–15 hours a day, nearly 7-days a week. Why would I want it filling up my main page to read stuff I’ve already seen?

It’s about inflating numbers so they can boast about how many followers, readers, writers, etc., they have. Break the numbers down and they aren’t nearly as “impressive”.
