I have a disability lawyer who earlier this year gave me the contact information for a medical malpractice lawyer down the hall from her. I’m still considering it. I have 3 years from the time of the incident to file so I still have plenty of time. Other than that, you’re right. There really is no recourse.

As soon as I am able I’m going to Mexico and get down there what my insurance company won’t approve here. Google “medical vacation in Mexico”. You’ll see all kinds of information. There are some peeps on YouTube that have made videos about it.

They show themselves crossing the border, going to the pharmacy or doctor, having a bite to eat, and then crossing back across the border to go home. I Plan on doing the nomad thing at least 6 months out of the year so it would be totally doable for me.
