I have a ton of questions that I can't seem to find answers to.

How do you get paid? A flat fee? How much is that flat fee? Do you have to pay a membership fee like with Medium?

Do they use Stripe? Paypal? What? How often do you get paid?

Are they only looking for news? What else do they accept in the way of subject matter?
