I haven’t thought about you in a while. This changed all that.

I guess it’s been a year or so ago now. I was lamenting how things were taxing on my energy-mental, physical, and emotional. You sent me this link. Do you remember? I do.

But time goes on and you’ve moved on and we are, for whatever reason, no longer friends. Actually, there are “reasons”. Aren’t there always?

You were deployed from the DC area to Cali. Then Hawaii. Then Cali. Then Hawaii again where you decided to retire. Me on the east coast and you in Hawaii.

Yep. That was never going to last.

Now I never hear from you so I mourn what was.
