How about you?
It’s only January 11, 2021, and I’m already killing it. Not only am I an editor of two of my own publications, plan-e-tary, and The White Light Society, but I am now an editor for Illumination and Illumination’s Mirror. Now, add to that, I’m also on Vocal (as of yesterday) and killing it over there (more about that in a minute). I’ve got even more tricks up my sleeve!
First the clarification.
When I say “killing it” I mean I submitted somewhere between 20 and 30 articles yesterday. Those editors and publishers earned their paycheck this week. Unlike Medium, Vocal has a minimum word count of 600 words. I was so busy doing the Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V that I didn’t even think to check the word counts on my submissions. Some got kicked back for being too short. Half of those are at least 500 words already, so I’ll fatten them up and resubmit later on.
Quality Alert!
Yes, Vocal has a word minimum, but one of the stories I submitted was a fraction of the 600 words they require. However, one of my stories was “so good” that they “made an exception” for me! Quality over quantity. I don’t care who says differently!
