I think 50+ hours a week functioning as an editor and all of the stress that came with that was just too much. Plus, putting in that much time for everyone else while neglecting my own writing was no good.

Now I'm inching in on 1.1k followers; this month I may actually hit $200; I was written about in the Washington Post 2 weeks ago about a story I wrote for Medium last year; and I mean it just keeps rolling LOL
