I was born in 1963. I can remember being in middle school and having some teachers take my books away from me when the class was over. Why? Because they would assign one chapter of homework and I'd come back the next day with five. I was working too far ahead of the class.

By the time I got to senior high I had started skipping school and still managed to graduate on time with the GPA I was expected to have. A lot of my final exams I had been exempted from because my GPA allowed me to graduate without them being necessary.
