I'll be killed by other editors in my sleep for this but... I'm the total opposite. My notes look like a line item audit. "Title Case", "Format the subtitle", "Photo needs to be copyright free and cited as such", etc. all the way down the article until I'm sure I've covered everything. The last line of the last note, "Feel free to resubmit once the corrections are made."
