I'm now in the top 6.4% of earners on Medium but you and I both know that the threshold isn't very high to get into that "club". And it took me over a year to get there.

I write about things that matter. I teach; I educate; I bring people into my inner world and let them see life through a different set of eyes. I also do my version of writers' lifts.

I did all of this without a strategy in mind. As you stated, if you write it and write it well the money will follow.
