It depends on the publication. The large publications that crank out 100 a day, yours gets buried. As they hit Publish, the one before it gets pushed down further towards the bottom of their page.

I find middle sized pubs to me are the best. Too small and you're still not getting eyeballs. Too big you're under an avalanche. I submit here and Fuck NIches (another Jason) to name two.

It's ashame that Medium did away with listing the publications each writer submitted to. I found it a helpful tool to find new places to either submit to or follow.
