It drives me nuts, which is a bike ride around the corner at this point, to be in the middle of an edit only to have another editor publish it from under me. I’ve had to apologize to a writer more than once when I’ve had to pull their story from publication because there were issues with it (no image citation and a copyrighted image on the same piece) that needed to be addressed first.

It makes me look like the bad guy. :P
