It's more fake engagement. They skim, clap, leave some lame @$$ comment or worse, post a link to their crap and then run.

I "correct" them. Hide their response. And yes, even block them. I'm building a business, a brand, a following. I have no time, inclination or toleration for people who again, want to cheat the system and find fast gimicks to get followers/read time.

What they fail to realize is a couple of things. One, if their way of doing things actually worked then everybody would be doing (although it sure feels that way on here) and two, people who take it seriously? All they're doing is alienating those writer/reader hybrids and getting a bad rep on the platform.
