It's the only plan that makes sense to me. I can't see jumping right in and writing and hitting publish and I don't even know the style guidelines. Or that I can self publish or submit to publications. Or how to even locate publications. What's legal? What's illegal?

The list goes on and on. But reactional people will bang the keyboards, submit until the cows come home and can't figure out why their account got suspended or they keep getting rejected by publications.
