I've done nearly 70 #writerlifts. Most were when I was an Editor for a largish publication here. I would see an interesting story or something that got me thinking and would write my own piece about it and plug the writer and their story. More often than not I'd have more followers than they did some their work got more eyes than they normally would.

There are the counterpoint pieces that I wrote to state an opposite opinion of another writer.

Still other writers will post pieces that are more questions than answers and instead of making 8859841258 comments I write my own piece and answer their questions there.
