I've seen articles on Medium (3 to be exact) stating that each reader only gets a total of 50 claps per day. This is incorrect. You can give up to a max of 50 claps per article that inspires you the reader, to do so.

I just wanted to throw that out there. I often wonder why some readers only bother to clap 3x. Like what's the point of that? Why clap at all if that's the case?

But if they're an avid Medium reader who thinks they only get 50 per day then it makes sense.
