I’ve yet to find a social media that is worth the effort yet “everyone” swears by it. I’d like screenshots and answers frankly. Follow-for-follow violates the policy on Medium but it’s okay on other platforms. Fine. But still? What are “writers” getting out of it?

Anyone who sees your tweets isn’t necessarily a Medium member so what’s the conversion rate? How many tweeters are now paying $5 a month to read you or anyone else for that matter?

Few if any. So it’s an exercise in futility. I’d rather build it and let them come to me. There’s no such thing as a free lunch as the saying goes. Everyone thinks they have the secret sauce to success. If it were that easy everyone would be doing it and be rich. It simply isn’t the case.

Add people on to then remove them 2 weeks later because they never followed back? Ya know how many posts I couldn’t have written in that time?
