This time it’s all about the cartoonists of Medium
Often forgotten and overlooked, there was once a huge call for artists that could draw. From everything from Saturday morning cartoons to the cartoons at the back of the daily newspaper, cartoonists have been entertaining and educating us for decades.
The first cartoon was published in the U.S. in October 1950 with the arrival of the Peanuts made its debut, it was published in seven U.S. newspapers. That first year, the comic strip came in last place in the New York World Telegram’s reader survey of cartoons.

Personally, I don’t recall 3, 7, 9, or 10. Loved 8 and can blame the cat’s attitude on my current mental state as well as my sense of humor. Liked 2 and 6 okay. Did not care for 5. Who didn’t love the Peanuts?! Loved Calvin and Hobbes and am in therapy…
