My "retirement" began with no longer being able to do 13 hour shifts. When I called the office and told them that I had to cut back they cut me back to 8 hour shifts. Finally in May of 2018 I had to take the entire month off. I had 15 doctor appointments that month.

Now I'm medically retired as of the ripe old age of 55. We're so busy taking care of everyone else that we don't stop to take care of ourselves. And then this is what happens.

But you know what? It's okay. Because now the Universe has seen to it that I do take the time to take care of me. I am now my own full time job. Literally. And it's okay.
