Nonurgent Urgent Care

Here we go again

Screenshot of “error” message. This has to be an error, right?

I’ve written before on just how fucked up the health care system is in the US. The last time I was in Urgent Care, which is almost never, I heard the receptionist tell people to make a reservation online for a date and time to come in.

TO URGENT CARE.

Knowing how that’s how the game is played and seeing how I didn’t hear back from MY primary’s office today after I left a message (because no one picked up) that I needed a sick patient appointment, I figured if I was going to be treated prior to death, then I would have to be okay with going back to “urgent care”.

It’s in quotation marks because as you can see by the screenshot it is neither urgent nor caring.

Death it is.
