Thugs steal and get their hands on guns by illegal means. Law-abiding citizens get guns to defend themselves from thugs that want to break into their homes, and businesses, or carjack them.

A vicious circle. If the death penalty had not become a joke there would be fewer thugs, one way or another. Because of the 'hug a tree and cuddle a puppy' throngs, the death penalty now means sitting on death row until you die of natural causes. That sentence needs to get its teeth back.

I must have lived in a previous time when public executions took place in the public square. Because I sure do miss those days. Leftists don't want the outliers to have to deal with the consequences of their decisions and actions.
