People have been saying it for months now and I kept poo-pooing them saying that Medium was fine. It just has some glitches. The algorithm is out of whack but everything will be okay.

I no longer believe that. I think through a specific chain of events, the developers have irrevocably broken Medium. Medium will stay in business, for now, but things are jacked and won't be any better for writers anytime soon.
