There will be very little of my award-winning sarcastic humor in this piece. This is straight-up serious business. I’m seeing way too many writers making too many mistakes. Editors can only do so much. With more writers coming on to Medium every day eventually editors and publishers are going to have to crack down on elementary mistakes in spelling, grammar, typos, etc. What does that mean for you?

Rejections. Rejection and rejection after rejection. And really, there’s no reason for it. Look at me. I got straight As in English when I was in school. So what? That was directly after dinosaurs stopped roaming the earth (okay, so I got one in there). In the meantime, I’ve also lost a lot of my memory thanks to illnesses and side effects of scripts. Personally, at this moment, I used the free version of Grammarly. After I finish this piece, however, I’m going to a paid service and I’ll tell you which one in a few.
