Next year, Reader’s Digest will have been in existence for 100-years. You read that right. Reader’s Digest came into being in 1922. And it’s been going strong ever since. I know in my family RD has been read through at three generations.
Wouldn’t it be fantastic if they accepted one of your pieces for publication?
The submission guidelines I located haven’t been updated since Feb 2014. However, through the screenshots that I provide here as well as links you should be armed with more than enough information to be able to at least successfully submit to the digest.
I’m going to save you a lot of time and heartache by telling you what you need to hear. Whether you want to hear it or not. If you are constantly receiving rejection notices from online writing platforms, please, on all that is holy, do NOT submit to RD. Wasting the time of a large and longstanding publication is NOT a good idea!
