Some Editors/Publishers Just Don’t Know What’s in Their Own Best Interests

This isn’t about your feewlings. It’s an unpaid JOB.

It’s the first time in over a month since I’ve published and then I have some a-hat to deal with. News flash, Sweetheart. You don’t have to agree with everything or anything that gets published. Publish it as is with the exception of spelling/grammatical mistakes. Or a simple PN of, “No thanks” and then kick it out of the queue.

What you don’t get to do is change the fifth tag from my name which is what I always use so I can Google my stuff and find it since Medium’s search engine sucks the big one, to “bitchy” because you didn’t like what I had to say.

It was small, petty, rude, unnecessary, and unprofessional. Needless to say, I changed it back and removed myself as a writer.

You’d think that a publication that hasn’t published in nearly a month with only 144 followers would be happy someone remembered that they still exist.

Looks like I’ll be spending the rest of this “holy day” working on Substack.
