White Men Tend to Only Listen to Other White Men

My very first rant!

Once more I was **sparked** by someone else’s writing but didn’t want to come across as someone dominating their hard work with my comments. Or as I like to call it, being an attention whore. So here we are. Let’s dive in.

“White men tend to only listen to other white men. They will occasionally listen to a white woman.”

That usually entails, “Honey, dinner’s ready!” or “Well hello there sailor. Come here often?” to “Yes your laundry is done.” Short of that? Yeah no.

“A speech soaked in sarcasm and easy authority.”

Mansplaining has entered the chatroom.

I posted something on Twitter recently and within seconds, a guy, yes, a white guy, responded with, “I don’t want to mansplain to you but…” and then proceeded to mansplain my own opinion to me. I went back out on the net, grabbed the URL (see I know big words), and posted it to his tweet. He shut up after that. 3700+ followers on Twitter, nearly no engagement whatsoever, yet my personal opinion is what finally grabbed someone’s attention or dare I say triggered them enough to respond.

No wonder I’m exhausted all the time.

He didn’t apologize. He didn’t delete his tweet. He just let it roll. Well…
