Stop Saying VIEWS When What You Really Mean Is READS!!

Anyone who knows me knows that once the ya’lls start coming out it’s time to step back. 730am and I’ve already seen three posts about ‘oh em gee I need to increase my views!!!’ and ‘I’m not making any money because my views are almost at zero!!’ and other such foolishness.

Shut up already.

You aren’t special if there are enough of you on here complaining about it that you’re one of many littering people’s feeds so how much money do you think you’ll make off of your post when it’s competing with 84,187,148,451 other posts about the exact same thing?

And if you are going to bitch about something can you at least for the love of all things holy make sure you know what you’re bitching about first?

So why is everyone up in arms about zero views? That’s a good thing! That means they didn’t click on your latest Medium-infused piece and then click off of it. It’s the Reads green bar that you want up day after day.

Those are the people that clicked and stayed.
