There Is One Reason I Took A Hard Pass on Smart Blogger

Too damn many pop-up ads!!! Oh Em Gee. And I have a pop-up ad blocker on. I couldn’t get past the ads to see anything of any genuine interest. For the sake of research I’m going to try this one more time.

So far, so good. Neat. Clean. Easy to read. I like it. But then,

Less than 15 seconds on the site and BAM, pop-up #1. I click on an article about webinars and just as I’m starting to read it,

Pop-up ad #2 rears its ugly head. I decide to scroll through Find Writing Jobs and; you guessed it,

Pop-up #3. I looked at the Start a Blog and nothing new under the sun there and surprisingly enough, no pop-up ads. Maybe that page turns clickers into leads?

So yeah, no. Hard pass. In a world where we have, mostly, almost eliminated junk mail (PO Boxes with no forwarding address) and spam calls (burner phones) we now have to deal with in-our-face crappola via pop-up ads. Imma go now. I need to have a chat with AdBlocker.
