Today Is Officially Movieday
One queued up on the laptop and one at a theater near me
Today will be all about movies and heating pads. I already had a tab open on Amazon Prime Videos for Johnny Depp’s Dark Shadows. I had no idea the boy had been in so many freakin’ movies until I researched him during the infamous trial last year. I had seen Edward Scissorhands and was this many days old when I realized he was the lead in that flick. Since then I tried watching Secret Window and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
I didn’t get all too far into Secret Window before I clicked off of it. It was creeping me out. Maybe I’ll try again someday when I have someone here with me and all the lights are on in the entire apartment. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory bored me to tears. I made it to the end but I did it by ⏩ a lot. I’ve seen bits and pieces of the Pirates franchise. I do think I may try Alice in Wonderland.
However, over the weekend Dark Shadows popped up in my YouTube feed. It started out with one suggestion which was an interview with Johnny and Tim (Burton) about the movie. It has actually been a brainchild of JD’s and he approached Tim about making it. The algorithm being what it is then decided to feed me more Dark Shadows suggestions.
