Trevor Moore’s Cause of Death

His death was confirmed by the Los Angeles County medical examiner-coroner, who said that Mr. Moore had died in a yard on a residential block in the Franklin Hills section of the city, the same block where public records showed he had lived.
He was killed in an accident, according to a statement from his wife, Aimee Carlson, that was released by his manager, Kara Welker. The statement did not provide details of the accident, and Ms. Welker said she did not have additional information. The medical examiner’s office said it would conduct an autopsy.-NY Times
The Sun was good enough to put the word “accident” in quotes. I had already air quoted the headline in my head when I read “accident”.
Typically, news outlets will state car accident if that’s indeed what it was. These headlines simply state accident. From The Sun,
