Use You Tube's search engine and type in "van life" or words to that effect. This has been going on for years now so no, it's not a fade. People are just beginning to find out about this lifestyle.

Cheap RV Living by Bob Wells is a good place to start. He interviews a variety of people that he meets on the road. Plus he gives product reviews for things you may need to live FT on the road.

You'd be surprised at how many seniors are living like this because their monthly income is so low. No mortgage. No rent. No utility bills, etc. Keep your home in good running order and gas in the tank. That's about it. There are some other incidentals (propane to cook with) but still a whole cheaper.
